9.00pm Hidden Treasure: The Comedy Vault BBC2 - As part of its 50th birthday celebrations, BBC2 is allowing access all areas to their precious comedy vaults. This programme pulls from the shelf some rare and unseen comedy moments from some of the greatest names in comedy. There are pilots which have never been broadcast before, including Stephen Fry's first appearance as the quizmaster in QI and a sit-com from the band Madness, as well as rare comedy treats from Spike Milligan, Pete and Dud, Rik Mayall and Billy Connolly, and Sacha Baron Cohen's first incarnation of Borat, an Albanian called Christo. Packed with archive treasure illustrating how ground-breaking and innovative BBC2 has been for British comedy, insightful analysis is provided by the guest interviews which boast some of the biggest names in television.

8.00pm DIY Dummies Five - Comedian Al Murray celebrates Britain's biggest DIY disasters. In this episode, we meet Graham who has been doing up his bathroom for five years and still it lacks a bath, Mario who tried to fulfil his wife's wish for a stainless-steel kitchen by covering their old one with auminium sheets and Nigel who survived shooting himself in the heart with a nail gun.

10.00pm Man v Weird: Superhuman Force Channel 4 - In brand new series, Man vs Weird, comedian Simon Farnaby travels the globe looking for people who claim to have extraordinary powers. In the first episode he meets people who claim to be able to control nature's most powerful forces.
Tuesday
10.35pm Monks BBC1 - Comedy set in a monastery. Gary has been defrauding the dole office for ten years. Faced with criminal prosecution, he decides to join a religious order to save himself from a long stretch of hardship and abstinence. However, it turns out monastic life is a lot like prison but with more praying. Rudley Abbey is a monastery under threat with only four monks remaining, so the abbot welcomes their new recruit - much to the annoyance of his deputy, Brother Francis. This could be Gary's chance to learn about himself, take some responsibility and bring some meaning to his life.

10.00pm Episodes BBC2 - Series 3 of the comedy series. Matt continues to fight for custody of his children, trying to convince his ex-wife to forgive him for sleeping with his stalker. Meanwhile, Sean and Beverly are back together, but they soon discover that it is not so easy to heal old wounds, especially when additional secrets are revealed about their time apart. Over at the network, Carol's ambitions are dealt a cruel blow.

8.00pm The Food Inspectors BBC1 - Matt Allwright, Chris Hollins and Gaby Roslin present a series investigating food hygiene. Matt investigates how clean our supermarkets really are by sending an undercover team to test for levels of bacteria in 10 London stores.
9.00pm Thalidomide: The Fifty Year Fight BBC2 - Documentary telling the story of a father's battle for justice against one of the UK's largest corporations. In the 1960s, the Thalidomide scandal shocked the world and devastated families.
9.00pm Trauma Doctors Five - Observational documentary series following the pioneering work of the trauma specialists at the Royal London Hospital. A young man comes within a centimetre of death after being stabbed, a man brought in after a fall learns that he has just days to live and a cyclist is left with life-changing injuries after being in a collision with a bus.
