7.00pm The Taste USA More4 - A chance to see the original series that was recently made for a UK audience on Channel 4. In the first programme, the marathon blind tastings begin as the culinary mentors - Anthony Bourdain, Nigella Lawson, Ludo Lefebvre and Brian Malarkey - eat their way through countless spoon-sized portions. Without knowing who created the dishes or exactly what the ingredients are, they must begin to select the team of four cooks they will mentor through the competition, based purely on the taste of their food.
7.30pm Live from Space Channel 4 - In this pioneering two-and-a-half-hour live broadcast from the International Space Station and Mission Control in Houston, viewers can interact with the astronauts onboard the ISS 250 miles above Earth as they travel around the planet in 90 minutes, at speeds of up to 17,500 mph. The astronauts share their breathtaking views of Earth, with live links to English-speaking astronauts Rick Mastracchio and Koichi Wakata. On the ground, Dermot O'Leary and space veteran Mike Massimino - one of the astronauts who helped repair and upgrade the Hubble Telescope - are at the heart of Mission Control with the team who hold Rick and Koichi's lives in their hands. Also taking part are Professor Stephen Hawking and British astronaut Tim Peake, who is set to join the crew onboard the International Space Station in 2015.
8.00pm Harry's South Pole Heroes ITV - Two-part documentary following the Walking with the Wounded South Pole Allied Challenge 2013. In the first part, four wounded British soldiers led by Prince Harry prepare to take on teams from the USA and the Commonwealth in a 200 km race to the South Pole. All sustained life-changing injuries in Iraq and Afghanistan. Brothers and sisters in arms on the battlefield, they now prepare to race each other through some of the harshest conditions on the planet. The UK team are the underdogs as they train in Iceland and struggle to get race fit. Then time in a giant deep freeze more usually used to test cars gives the five Brits some inkling of what to expect in the Antarctic. Not even last-minute words of advice from Prince Harry's grandparents, as they are joined by their American, Canadian and Australian comrades at Buckingham Palace, can fully prepare the teams for the stark reality of what lies ahead.

9.00pm The Plantagents BBC2 - Professor Robert Bartlett tells the extraordinary story of England's most dysfunctional, yet longest ruling, royal dynasty. Henry II forges a mighty empire encompassing England and much of France. His sons, Richard the Lionheart and John, then turn on their father and each other, bringing the dynasty to the edge of annihilation.
9.00pm The Widower ITV - Three-part drama based on the crimes of convicted murderer Malcolm Webster. When Claire Webster challenges her new husband Malcolm about his wild spending, he responds by sedating her with powerful drugs stolen from a hospital where he works as a nurse. As Claire's suspicions about her illness grow, Webster decides to silence her once and for all. Three years on, he has a new bride... and history appears to be repeating itself. Reece Shearsmith and Sheridan Smith star.
9.00pm Life & Death Row BBC3 - Series telling the story of capital punishment through the eyes of young people whose lives have been shaped by it. With unprecedented access inside prison walls, it discovers what it's like to live with the threat of the death chamber, as well as hearing from victims and their families, and the family of those on death row - some praying for execution, some hoping for a reprieve. Each episode focuses on a key aspect of the system - execution, trial and appeal. For two of the youngest men on death row in Texas, execution day has arrived. Victim Nikki Daniels reflects on her kidnapping ordeal by murderer Richard Cobb and battles with her conflicting desires to forgive him, while the mother of death row inmate Anthony Haynes fights to use the final 72 hours to halt her son's execution for the murder of a police officer.
10.00pm Prostitution: What's the Harm? BBC3 - Billie JD Porter goes in search of the human face of the prostitution business, talking to the young men who routinely pay for sex about why they do it, and to the young women who sell their bodies about what's in it for them.

9.00pm Food Prices: The Shocking Truth Channel 4 - Jimmy Doherty goes on a global journey to find out why food prices have been rising. Taking some weekly shop essentials, he discovers that the cost of food reflects some of the big challenges of the 21st century, from the rise of Asia to the power of the financial markets, and from growing population to volatile weather.
10.00pm Undercover Doctor: Cure Me, I'm Gay Channel 4 - In this one-off documentary Dr Christian Jessen goes undercover to both investigate and undertake controversial gay 'cures' in both the UK and the USA. Christian is shocked to find that there are people who believe that homosexuality is a disorder which should be cured; as well as a growing number of therapists and self-styled healers who believe that homosexuality is a curable illness. He sets out to prove or disprove their claims by offering himself up as a suitable case for treatment. As a doctor who also happens to be gay, Christian is keen to find out what's on offer for people who are uncomfortable with their sexual orientation and desperate for change. He wants to discover whether or not these 'cures' are effective by trying them on himself.

Thursday
8.30pm Ade at Sea ITV - New series in which Adrian Edmondson explores Britain's maritime past and its influence today. In the first episode, Ade sails into Brixham Harbour, where the colourful houses cascading down on either side of the port make it one of the prettiest on the South Devon coast.
9.00pm Davina: Beyond Breaking Point for Sport Relief BBC1 - Documentary telling the inside story of Davina McCall's challenge to raise money for Sport Relief, with exclusive behind the scenes access. The film follows Davina through highs and lows as she swims, cycles and runs from Edinburgh to London - 500 miles in 7 days. Davina's husband, her parents and best friend provide a unique insight into Davina's battle to overcome the toughest Sport Relief challenge yet. Spending 17 hours on the bike on the first day alone, Davina fights extreme fatigue and fearsome weather conditions.
9.00pm Turks and Caicos BBC2 - Sequel to spy drama Paige Eight starring Bill Nighy, Helena Bonham Carter and Winona Ryder. Johnny Worricker is hiding out from his work at MI5 on the tax-exile islands, Turks and Caicos. Trouble comes knocking when an encounter with a CIA agent forces him into the company of some dubious American businessmen. Claiming to be on the islands for a conference, Worricker soon learns the extent of their shady activities. When links to prime minister Alec Beasley come to light, Worricker must act quickly if he is to survive.
9.00pm Dangerous Dogs ITV - Two-part documentary which takes a graphic look at the dramatic rise in the number of dog attacks in the UK. In 2013, three people in the UK were killed by dogs and over 6,000 were hospitalised.
9.00pm Inside Rolls-Royce Channel 4 - Documentary that offers a privileged peek into the exclusive and luxurious world of British heritage car brand Rolls-Royce. The programme follows the team at their Goodwood factory as they manufacture their most expensive bespoke car to date, The Celestial, which comes complete with diamond studded interior. The film reveals the craftsmanship, attention to detail and dedication that goes into making and selling cars with a huge price tag, and the extraordinary lengths the team will go to in the pursuit of perfection.

7.00pm Sport Relief BBC1 - Live from the Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park, the biggest stars come together in a huge celebration to try and raise a record amount for good causes. Gary Lineker and David Walliams kick off the big night with Clare Balding and Gabby Logan at the Velodrome and Aquatics Centre. John Bishop and Sebastian Coe captain two teams of celebrities as they compete in events such as rhythmic gymnastics, elimination cycling and synchronised swimming. David Jason and Nicholas Lyndhurst reunite in a special edition of Only Fools and Horses with David Beckham. Gary Barlow and Gary Lineker join forces to help inspire the England football team at the World Cup. Tess Daly hosts Strictly Come Dancing with Paralympic heroes and Sport Relief heroines Davina McCall and Alex Jones re-live their astonishing challenges, while there's live music from Little Mix, Kylie Minogue and Boyzone. Plus, how the money raised for Sport Relief is spent helping disadvantaged people at home and abroad.
