We all have been in the situation when 1 or 2 burgers are not enough and then we are torn between ordering another one or just ordering some crunchy sides; well Johnny Rockets has found a way out by introducing an All You Can Eat aka A la Carte menu!! With unlimited burgers, sides, salads and shakes starting at just Rs.449, who needs to think now.
As you enter their outlet, an enthusiastic staff and many a time the diners shout out to welcome you, from that moment itself the experience starts. To ease out the process of ordering both for the customer and for the staff you now have to write your name and tick on all that you want to order. 6 basic patty options paired with 6 signature flavours; now that is a permutation and combination one would like to do. I started with the Smoke House Burger, thick cut strips of smoked bacon, cheddar cheese, onion rings and a lamb patty smothered with BBQ sauce. You can also substitute the patty for a paneer or chicken one. Then came the rock star Rocket Burger, a heaven for the vegans it had a succulent paneer patty with a crisp, fresh lettuce leaf, tomato, onion, cheddar cheese and their special sauce. Also, one can choose between a whole wheat bun or brioche.
Now, burgers were obviously the star product but what really made me fall in love with this A la Carte concept was the sides. Unlimited cheesy fries; these three words definitely can take anyone’s breath away. Crunchy onion rings, masaledar tater tots, super juicy spiced sausages; I just cannot recall how many of these I had. We also tried the oreo shake which kind of gave us a sugar rush. They also have a salad option which frankly I didn’t try as I was blindfolded with the goodness of burgers and tots.
I also had a small conversation with Chef. Bakshish Dean, the person who played a vital role in helping Johnny Rockets to enter the Indian market. He has been in the industry for 23 years now, a man with so much experience up his sleeve was the right person to ask the difference between the Indian and western food preferences. According to him in countries like US they are inclined towards enjoying the taste of the patty whereas in India we lean towards the condiments or add-ons.

Guests at Ambience Mall, Gurgaon and DLF Promenade, Vasant Kunj outlets can enjoy a six-course meal starting from pre-appetizers, appetizers, Johnny Rockets signature shakes and burgers to salads and desserts.
Well as they say at Johnny Rockets good times roll and now with this new influx of unlimited food it will be our bellies and tummies rolling with joy!
