EDUARDO SÁNCHEZ, “Intruders”, “Exists” Films Director, Producer, Screenwriter, Editor.
Born in Havana, Cuba as Eduardo Miguel Sánchez-Quiros on December 20, 1968 is the most famous for co-directing and writing the 1999 psychological horror The Blair Witch Project with Daniel Myrick.
Sánchez moved to Spain with his family at the age of two, before settling in the United States in 1972.

It was at a young age he gained an interest in film making. At Wheaton High School Ed made school movie projects such as Shrimp Fried Vice and Pride (in the name of Love) all of which starred his friends and family, as well as Ed himself.
After High School Ed studied at Montgomery College where he continued to make movies like Star Trek Demented. He later got accepted to the University of Central Florida where he made Gabriel’s Dream, a film which he thought was going to be his big break, but that didn’t come for almost another decade. In 1997 he and a close friend Daniel Myrick got together and started production on the most successful movie (budget to gross) ever, the The Blair Witch Project (1999). It was a world-wide hit and has become one of the most spoofed films of all time.
He studied television production at Montgomery College in Maryland and obtained his B.A. degree from the University of Central Florida Film Department (1994) where he studied with Dr. Mary C. Johnson and Dr. Charles Harpole.
In 1999, Sánchez was joint-recipient of the inaugural Independent Spirit John Cassavetes Award. Helped independent filmmaker Darren Martinez by being a key player in the promotion of Darren’s New Orleans documentary Hellp (2006). Working on treatments for a Blair Witch Prequel with Dan Myrick and Haxan Films.

Personal Life.
He is married to the former Stefanie De Cassan and lives with her and their children, a daughter, Bianca Sanchez (2001) and two sons, Lucas (2003) and Lennon (2009). They live in the greater Washington, D.C., area.

Nacido en La Habana, Cuba, como Eduardo Miguel Sánchez-Quirós el 20 de diciembre, 1968 es un director estadounidense, el más famoso por co-dirigir y escribir el terror psicológico 1999 El proyecto de la bruja de Blair Daniel Myrick.
Sánchez se trasladó a España con su familia a la edad de dos años, antes de establecerse en los Estados Unidos en 1972.
