ANTONIO BANDERAS TO TELEVISION AS THE CUBAN DETECTIVE MARIO CONDE.
Antonio Banderas star in the TV series set in Cuba based on the series of detective novels of Cuban Leonardo Padura, Princess of Asturias Award for Literature 2015.
Cuba is now a topic of interest to Hollywood.
Antonio Banderas will star in the series of Starz based detective stories by Cuban writer Leonardo Padura “Cuban Quartet”.
Starz CEO Chris Albrecht made the announcement Friday in a panel to TV critics in Beverly Hills, California. The series is based on the series The Four Seasons Padura featuring the detective Mario Conde, who always dreamed of being a writer.

Banderas will play the detective and will also be executive producer of distributed internationally by EntertainmentOne series.
Apparently, Cuba is now a topic of interest to Hollywood. Discovery Channel recently released its series “Cuban Chrome” Conan O’Brien recently recorded episodes of his late-night show “Conan” in Cuba, and American Heroes channel will air a one-hour documentary on Fidel Castro.
Padura was announced in June as winner of the Princess of Asturias Award for Literature 2015.

Antonio Banderas protagonizará en TV la serie ambientada en Cuba que se basa en la serie de novelas policíacas del cubano Leonardo Padura, Premio Princesa de Asturias de las Letras 2015.

Antonio Banderas protagonizará la serie de Starz “Cuban Quartet” basada en las novelas policíacas del escritor cubano Leonardo Padura.
El director general de Starz Chris Albrecht hizo el anuncio el viernes en un panel para críticos de televisión en Beverly Hills, California. La serie está basada en la serie Las cuatro estaciones de Padura protagonizadas por el detective Mario Conde, quien siempre soñó con ser escritor.
Banderas dará vida al detective y también será productor ejecutivo de la serie distribuida a nivel internacional por EntertainmentOne.

Al parecer, Cuba es ahora un tema de interés para Hollywood. Discovery Channel estrenó recientemente su serie “Cuban Chrome”, Conan O’Brien grabó hace poco episodios de su programa nocturno, “Conan”, en Cuba, y el canal American Heroes transmitirá un documental de una hora sobre Fidel Castro.
Padura fue anunciado en junio como ganador del Premio Princesa de Asturias de las Letras 2015.
