Victoria Global, The Soho Loft Media Group and Whole.com organize  RenewFi2 Conference in San Jose, California on April 29 and 30, 2015

The “RenewFi2: Opportunities in Renewable Energy Finance” Conference is expecting venture capitalists, investors, entrepreneurs, fund managers, contractors, consultants, financial analysts, project executives and developers in real estate and renewable energy to meet in San Jose, California.  This 2-day premiere event is scheduled to take place at the historic Corinthian Event Center on  April 29th and 30th, 2015. Globally, renewable energy investments, particularly solar and wind power, increased significantly to 270 billion dollars in 2014. This growth was attributed to subsidies in developed countries, including a 30 percent tax credit by the U.S. government for solar projects. This conference will  highlight modern trends, challenges and solutions in project and venture financing shared by institutional and accredited investors.

According to the Chairman and Founder of Victoria Global, The Soho Loft Media Group and LDJ Capital David Drake, “Renewable energy sources such as sunlight, geothermal and wind are the ways that future energy needs will be met. Harnessing these energy sources requires high capital which calls for alternative funding models,  and crowdfunding is one of them”.

The RenewFi2 Conference agenda features keynote speeches, panel discussions and breakout sessions. Conference attendees can expect keynote speeches on both days focusing on topics such as “Solar Entrepreneurship”, “New Funds, Future Plans”, “Capital Structures for New Markets” and “The Rise of Caribbean Market”. These major presentations will be held inside the Corinthian Grand Ballroom. On the first day, conference attendees can participate in panel discussions around topics such as “Commercial Solar and Energy Efficiency in the U.S.”, “Creation and Management of Renewable Resources Fund”, “Real Estate and Renewable Resources Market in Mexico” and “Public-Private Partnerships”. On the second day, attendees can expect to participate in panel and breakout sessions on topics like “Early and Seed Stage Renewable Ventures”, “Fundraising via Internet” and “Waste to Energy Projects”.

The RenewFi2 Conference will be moderated by Daniel Robin, Founder of  In3 Finance and Corey Call, Chairman at RenewFi, CEO at Whole Com and Cleantech Director at Victoria Global.
