The 4th Danube Financing Dialogue will be held in Croatian State Archives, Marulicev trg 21 1000 Zagreb, Croatia. Participants to this dialogue include officials of funding agencies and financial institutions that offer inter alia, grants, loans and guarantees; individuals advocating for projects in the region; and the different personalities involved in the European Union Strategy for the Danube Region (EUSDR).

The meeting’s agenda include discussions on vital issues related to financing promising projects in the Danube Region; face-to-face meetings; matchmaking sessions; project exhibition, and informal networking during lunch and dinner.
On the first day, the promising projects from among the list of registered projects will be presented to financing institutions and funding agencies. Each project will be given 5 minutes to present and convince the potential fund sources of its relevance and uniqueness vis-a-vis the Danube Region.
An interactive question and answer will follow after the presentation. The project developers and the funding sources can still network during dinner.
The attendees will be welcomed, and the exhibition opened, by Hrvoje Marušić, Croatian National contact point for the EUSDR and Assistant Minister of Foreign and European Affairs; and Kurt Puchinger, Priority Area 10 Coordinator of the EU Strategy for the Danube Region. The facilitator for the first day’s activities will be Irena Lukač of the Center of Excellence in Finance.
On the second day, the welcome messages will be given by Vesna Pusić, Croatian Minister of Foreign and European Affairs (tbc) and Franz Nauschnigg of the European Affairs and International Financial Organizations of the National Bank of Austria.
