{I love the idea of “paying it forward”. I think the world would be a better place if we could spread some joy and acknowledgement of good deeds done by others. I try to do that once a month for my Sew Thankful Sunday posts. I highlight some great content that I’ve found on other people’s blogs that I hope will inspire you and reward the originator by bringing traffic to their site. If your blog has been mentioned without your consent, please let me know and I will take you off the current list of featured bloggers.}

Hello February!  This month is commonly known as the “sweet” month with all of the hearts and chocolate that go around.  You’ll see plenty of hearts in today’s round up and everything is sure to be sweet without the calories.  You’ll have to get your own chocolate.  Enjoy!

Nothing says “true love” like a quilt.  Especially this True Love Quilt by Jennifer at 42 Quilts.  I love the wonky style and it’s perfect for you paper piecers.

2.  Friendship and love come together in this Friendship Love Block by Amy at A Quilting Sheep.  This is such a clever way of combining two elements for a very special quilt block.

3.  Mini’s are still popular and it’s no wonder with adorable quilts like this Sweet Rebellion Mini Quilt by Cindy at Live a Colorful Life.  I love how she tweaked a traditional rail fence block and made it really interesting!

4.  It happens to the best of us; we lose our motivation to sew.  Ros at Sew Delicious has written 10 Ways to Get Your Sewing Mojo Back that you will want to bookmark for later.   Your creative juices will really get flowing and you’ll have your “sewjo” back in no time!

5.  I can never have enough tote bags, so I really appreciate this French Market Tote Bag Tutorial by Andy at A Bright Corner.  It’s a great way to show off your favorite prints!

6.  You may have to drop everything and check out the Bella Skill Builder Series happening at the Fat Quarter Shop’s Jolly Jabber.  This beautiful quilt was designed by Sheri McConnell and each month starting in February, you’ll receive FREE instructions and a video tutorial for that month’s block.  By November, you’ll have everything you need to make this stunning quilt.

7.  If your scrap baskets are overflowing, check out this Wonky Log Cabin Block Tutorial by Emily at Simple Girl, Simple Life.  This is a great way to incorporate lots of odd shaped pieces into a beautiful quilt block that will eventually turn into a beautiful quilt.

8.  The dynamic duo of Amanda at Jedi Craft Girl and Amber at Gigi’s Thimble have come up with a sewing series called 5 Fat Quarter Fun.  These FREE patterns are offered once a month and they just released the Valentine edition for this month, Chains of Love.  I think this is so sweet in every way!

9.  Here’s a club that you’ll want to check out.  Ricky Tims is hosting the Legacy Quilt Club which is a virtual club and offers a FREE quilt block pattern each month for the next 20 months!  You’ll be making the famous Legacy Quilt which is based on traditional quilt blocks that measure 15″ square.  What a treat!

I love the sharing community we have as quilters.  I appreciate your support, and I’m sure all of the bloggers featured today appreciate your visits and comments as well.  We are lucky to have them!  I hope your February is sweet as can be!
