November is a great month to count your blessings. I’m fortunate to say that mine are plentiful. As always, there are many things to be thankful for in our crafting and quilting community. Here’s a list of a few that I think you’ll appreciate! I’m also adding a “new to me” blogger introduction each month so look for that at the end.

1. If you’re hosting Thanksgiving and need some ideas for the “littles”, check out this Thanksgiving Kiddie Table from Hoosier Homemade. There is plenty here to keep the kids entertained and it looks great, too!
2. Sew Mama Sew is bringing us their Annual Handmade Holidays series all month long in November. Each day a guest curator will share a list of tutorials that are related to a theme, and there is a chance to win prizes. It will be my turn to share later this month as I find tutorials for the crafter in your life (oh, that’s you)!
3. I couldn’t resist adding these Pumpkin Cheesecake Oatmeal Cookie Bars to the list. They’re one of the many delicious recipes you’ll find at Our Best Bites, and I think these might replace my pumpkin pie this year. I’ll let you know how it goes!
4. If you’re someone that likes to keep lists and stay organized, you’ll appreciate this Holiday Organizing Binder (free printable) from Heather at Moritz Fine Designs. You’ll be able to keep track of everything in one place and not get overwhelmed this holiday season.
5. I love decorating with homemade items for the holidays and this Quilty Farmhouse Ornament from Amber at Gigi’s Thimble looks just right for my house. I could decorate a whole tree with these!
6. The Jolly Jabber has just launched a new series called Sew Illustrated which will feature free tutorials from various designers. Heidi Staples of Fabric Mutt is starting things off with this adorable Trinket Case to hold all of your treasures. This would make a great gift, too!
7. For loads of holiday inspiration, check out this round up of 20 DIY Christmas Ornaments from Amy at Positively Splendid. Once there, you’ll also find the Ultimate Christmas Round Up For the Home with over 200 ideas for decorating, baking and giving.
8. Table runners are the perfect accent to your home decor. You’ll love this Sugar Plum Table Runner from Faith at Fresh Lemon Quilts. She has just started a quilt along at We All Sew, and now you can follow along and make your own holiday inspired table runner.
9. A new challenge has just begun with Nancy Zieman’s Annual Christmas Stocking Sewing Challenge. There will be $1,700 in prizes given at the end! Even if you’re not participating, you’ll find plenty of ideas to inspire you.
10. Are you in love with everything mini? Check out this Candy Stars Mini Quilt by Jen Daly Quilts for the Moda Bake Shop. If you’re like me, you’ve got a mini charm pack (or two) just waiting to be used!
11. One of my “go to” web resources for free quilt patterns is Fave Quilts. I am fortunate to have many of my tutorials featured there, and I’m very thankful for the traffic that has been directed my way. If you haven’t visited them yet, put it on your list. You won’t be disappointed!
12. This month, I’d like to introduce you to a “new to me” blogger (and designer), Suzy of Suzy Quilts. Suzy has a modern design aesthetic rooted in tradition. You’ll find some beautiful patterns, quilts and gifts in her online shop. At Suzy’s blog, she often has free tutorials and insightful articles such as her latest one, Everything You Need to Know About the Ohio Star.
