Free Golf Camp
Findlay Country Club assistant pro David Brim and Findlay High School coach Dr. Charlie Spragg will conduct free golf camps on July 18, July 25 and July 31 at the Findlay Country Club. Instruction and assistance will be available from 9-11 a.m. on the specified days. Instruction will be given on the east end of the FCC driving range. The camps are open to all potential players. Those attending should report to Coach Spragg by 8:45 a.m.
Findlay High School Golf Tryouts
New Findlay High School golf coach Charlie Spragg has scheduled four tryout dates for any athletes interested in playing on the FHS boys or girls golf teams this fall. The first tryout will be Aug. 1 at Red Hawk Run ($20 cost, sign in by 7:30 a.m.), the second at Hillcrest Golf Club ($14 cost, sign in by 7:30 a.m.) and the third at Shady Grove Golf Course ($10 cost, sign in by 7:30 a.m.). Findlay Track Camp
The Findlay High School track staff will be conducting a track and field camp from 9-11:30 a.m. Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday at the Cooper Tire Track Complex at Findlay High School. The camp is for students in grades 2-8. Cost of the camp is $40 if registering on July 14.
