The GoP was not given a "new broom to sweep clean". The GoP was given
a mandate to get this country headed in the right direction again. I
don't shiv a git what the majority thinks.

It's not wise to overturn without putting something better in place.
Unfortunately that "something better" is based on point of view, not
fact.

You're never going to convince an absentee dad who refuses to work
that the government doesn't owe him - unless you make him work to get
anything.

Doesn't a 'mandate' imply AT LEAST a majority?.. Or are we talking about a new concept-- a minority mandate?

Didn't we hear something similar from the GOP superpac donors after 2012?

You do pretty much every cycle - answers are always wanted - moreso tho given the "obvious" outcome and record fundraising totals

It has been know that Tucker Carlson is crazy for a long time.

But I'm shocked, truly shocked, that there haven't been any comments about biased television coverage and the badgering of guests on MSM shows. Guess it only works one way.

The best part: it was revealed yesterday that VT was one of the teams that got the leaks. For a game that the Hokies lost to Wake, 6-3 in 2OT for their only conference loss to Wake Forest ever.

So yeah, it really helped :)

If he was selling them, why look any further than gre^H^H^H free market excellence?

>Did you read what the Republicans had to say in 1952? The "they" below refers to Democrats in general and the Truman administration specifically.

I thought Truman was an outstanding president. I thought Bill Clinton
was fiscally responsible and morally bankrupt. I can separate the two.

My opinion iss that socialism was not a problem until LBJ in spite of
FDR. Worthless people didn't "cross the tracks" until the Vietnam era.
Whether others agree is never a concern.

I don't think much about party (except when posting it's easier to
generalize). I don't look to a party (or anyone for that matter) to
decide for me. Nobody is that good. I decide based on the facts as I
see them. The bottom line usually is to decide on the better (lesser
evil?) of two positions. A kind heart is wonderful if it doesn't
bankrupt you.

I am a Christian - but the Bible doesn't prove to me that Adam and Eve
were the first homo sapiens. I'm still trying to do connect the dots.

They did - that was.....not pretty.

Minnie played tightish - but not quite so bad. Thot their speed would create more problems for Stanford than they did.

Satuday's match should be fun - Texas pin hitters v Stanford's block and size. W/ Hentz back there, gotta lean towards the Cardinal - esp if Texas doesn't serve Plummer w/ White
