No, because Walmart makes money. That's capitalism.

The military doesn't make money. It's a purely socialist
organization, taking money from the citizenry and giving
it to other citizens (and non-citizens!!!) under force of law.

Yes, "provide for the common defense" is right before
"promote the general welfare."

Speaking of bama political statements - did anyone catch the pre-game shot of the small crowd of earnest white kids wearing BLM shirts in the stands?

Both races were wearing those. No problemo - black lives DO matter.

But, if they exercised their right not to show respect while the SSB
is played, I hope someone exercised their right to throw them off the
upper deck.

So, a corporation that files for bankruptcy is socialist because they
didn't make money.

Your severely limited definitions are signs of your severely limited
intelligence.

Your relating that to socialism is why veterans of your war couldn't
win it. Welfare to the opponent in war is very stupid.

You better ride another horse - you put a prick on a mare.

No, their purpose is still to make money. That's not
the case with the military - or, as you pointed out, the
government as a whole.

I'm not surprised you spout off about socialism without
even knowing what it is.

*You* are a veteran of that war, dumbass. Unless
you've been lying about your time in the military.

We just found out why. The Super-PAC that bought the time has money from the Cubs ownership -- and with the media in the Cubs' back pocket to ensure The Curse ends...

Socialist leaders make money - and they share a small portion with you
puppets.

Socialism is when the government takes money from responsible working
people to give to little people like you.

I am not a veteran of Korea or Viet Nam based on Active Duty. One
could say those "wars" were lost because I had to sit on the bench
while you played.

Someone sell me on "early voting"

"The Cheesehusker, Trade Warrior" <Iamtj4life@gmail.com>: Oct 23 01:30PM -0700

Still not getting it.

If you want to vote early b/c you're too busy or out of town, do the absentee thing.

But why early voting at polls?

dotslashderek@gmail.com: Oct 23 01:32PM -0700

Because we should generally strive to make it as easy as possible for legit voters to vote?

I guess you have mail in options. What's the argument against early voting?

Cheers.

Stupidass early send

1 - cost
2 - "fair" manning of polls in all areas
3 - greater room for shenanigans from all parties
4 - "accidental" early release of vote totals depressing/influencing the normal election day voting
5 - late information which might affect your vote
6 - grey area as to "how long before"?

Yes. Mississippi ranked 6th in SOS and they just
played a top 10 team.

Mississippi (3, 3)
2016-09-05 L 34-45 @ Florida St (5, 2)
2016-09-10 W 38-13 Wofford (4, 2)
2016-09-17 L 43-48 Alabama (7, 0)
2016-09-24 W 45-14 Georgia (4, 3)
2016-10-01 W 48-28 Memphis (5, 1)
2016-10-15 L 30-34 @ Arkansas (5, 2)
2016-10-22 @ LSU (4, 2)
2016-10-29 Auburn (4, 2)
2016-11-05 Georgia Southern (3, 3)
2016-11-12 @ Texas A&M (6, 0)
2016-11-19 @ Vanderbilt (3, 4)
2016-11-26 Mississippi St (2, 4)

I think it is tough to beat them.
Let's see what Auburn does.

The losses are understandable but the wins aren't particularly impressive. They would probably beat my team though :(

Our schedule has been insane....

michael anderson <mianderson79@gmail.com>: Oct 23 11:38AM -0700

It seems like we have a huge game every week....I've lost track of how many ranked teams we've played.

And now our next game is against another ranked team on the road who in all honestly looks to be a COMPLETELY different team than before they fired les. As I predicted. They are playing like a top 5 team now for sure.

And then later on we have to play auburn...who also looks unbelievable lately and like a completely different team.

This is insane.

They still look great for a playoff spot. They get michigan at home and if they win that game they go from the bigten.....all these fantasies of the other 4 conferences all have 4 unbeaten teams after cc games are absurd. That's like a 1 in 200 chance of happening.

No doubt. It's still Alabama, Clemson, tOSU/Michigan winner, and one TBD.

Nothing has changed. The fact that tOSU beating Michigan creates a three-way division tie and PSU falling out first due to overall record doesn't change that much.
