Position: SharePoint Administrator/ Architect (REMOTE)

Location: Portland, OR

Duration: 6+ months/ Contract

Job Description:

• The mission is to be able to work with customer and team members at various levels to ensure deployment of high performance SharePoint environment which is scalable.

• Provide high-level Enterprise and/or Systems architectural expertise to managers and technical staff.

• Develop architectural products and deliverables for the enterprise and operational business lines. Develop strategy of systems and the design infrastructure necessary to support that strategy. Advise on selection of technological purchases with regards to processing, data storage, data access, and applications development.

• Responsible for identifying and coordinating integration of system components, including hardware and software, into a finished system.

• Responsible for logical and physical diagrams, including data flows, develops capacity plans and threshold limits, and works with other analysts, including configuration, security, and development personnel, to ensure system development follows the planned architecture.

Required Skills and Experience

• The position requires 8+ years' experience with Microsoft SharePoint on an enterprise level as a SharePoint Architect/ Administrator.

• Candidate must have experience with Multi-Farm and Multi-Environment SharePoint installations.

• 5+ years hands-on experience administering SharePoint 2010/2013 to include the following: installing and configuring large server farm topology – physical and VMware; applying patches, service packs, and infrastructure updates; creating, configuring, and maintaining Shared Service Providers to enable and enhance site search functionality; supporting DBAs and developers in deployment of SharePoint related solutions (e.g. custom web parts);

• Ability to handle complex needs in Multi-Farm environment including Server management and show how to increase work flow in Server Management

• Experience with improve my SharePoint Performance including speed and simultaneous usage

• 5+ years' experience with the .NET Framework tools and the Web development environment

• 5+ years' experience with SharePoint solutions deployment across multiple farms and environments, including working knowledge of SharePoint Solution Package (WSP) creation.

• 5+ years' experience with SharePoint Backup, Recovery, and Disaster Recovery using both native features and products like Metalogix, AvePoint and/or Idera.

• 3+ years' experience with SharePoint 2013 including custom SharePoint Web parts, SharePoint Designer Workflow, and InfoPath

Experience with the following is desired/beneficial

• SharePoint 2010 to 2013 migration

• ShareGate Migration Software

• Installing, configuring, and patching SP2013

• Configuring and optimizing Office Web Apps Server for SP2013

• Site Mailboxes, integration with Exchange 2010 and 2013

• JQuery, Angular.js, Twitter Bootstrap

• Team Foundation Server

• Transact SQL and PL/SQL

• ULS, IIS, and Server Event log analysis

• SharePoint performance analysis and troubleshooting
