Job Description
Remote or Onsite: On location at the Client's site 100% of the time. No telecommuting or remote work.
Description: Our Client, a government institution, is looking for .Net Developer.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:
Provide professional business and systems analysis and programming for applications in a variety of environments;
Provide program level application design and analysis from both written and verbal detailed program specifications;
Debug complex computer programs;
Write specifications, design and create new programs, and analyse and modify existing programs;
Design and support applications and web sites using the agency's standard tools;
Write test plans and participate in peer testing;
Participate in project planning and design with clients and senior analytical staff;
Consult and plan for specific modifications and systems enhancements;
Provide optimum quality service to the clients;
Monitor project for quality assurance and adherence to procedures in order to avoid preventable interruption of production;
Develop written documents to clearly present information in a logical order with terms that are understood by the receiving audience;
Prepare written reports (e.g., monthly activity, project status, etc.) to provide information;
Document activities and time spent on tasks.
Requirements:
Experience working as a .NET developer;
Experience with C#;
Experience with ASP.NET;
Experience with HTML, XML, XSD, SOAP, JavaScript and SQL;
Experience with Agile methodology;
Experience using system testing applications;
Experience recognizing hardware and software problems and implementing effective solution (preferred);
Bachelor's Degree and 2+ years of experience or Associates Degree and 5+ years of experience.
