For baseline, Satele was 31st. And both are deemed better than Brenner?
Why's he on the team?

The latest Dolphin love interests, Tavaris Jackson, Michael Crabtree and
JD Walton have a very unpleasant odor that smells like the bottom of the

rating among any Giants offensive players... and that offense was ugly
bad in 2014.

These are the sorts of players I would expect Tannenbaum to be shoving
down Rex Ryan's throat as the NY Jets' GM.

Don't know about Brenner but Nate Garner is a gonner.

Maybe Suh can play on Offense too?

Okay, while you're licking the spoon, Walton is not a center. Is that
what the "C" was to intended to convey? According to what I have read,
he has never played any position other than guard.

I would like to hear why the Sentinel or any other source believes he's
being signed to be the back-up center. Why Walton ahead of Satelle? As
weak as Samson may be, he's got to be miles ahead of Walton at Center.

J Lunis <lunis.j@gmail.com>: Mar 19 05:09PM -0700

It is possible Jackson is a bargaining chip. Moore is 1st choice.
Crabtree is a legitimate upgrade.
Waldon is little worse than Satele. Best case - Jackson and Waldon won't be needed.

I see Walton being declared as a Center... I guess the guy writing about
him as a Giant has it wrong when he declares "Walton has never played a
position other than guard, and positional flexibility would seem
essential for players in reserve roles."

Can't make much sense of this.

They released Suh? That didn't take long! ;)

Please help me out....

Is the poster who posts as "Drumrboy" actually "Drumrboy", or....

is it the coward, hypocrite, saltbreathing "vandal", the all-time
disapearing court foreskin jester?

I'd rather not waste time replying to the obvious fool Salty, and if I
have to plonk both, so be it, but I'm just trying to be judicious.

Or, are they one and the same? Sounds like Kowardly Kenny Saltbreath's
style, using the term loosely...

??

Michael Crabtree to visit Miami Dolphins

>I can find no articles calling this a bad trade for Miami.

Just to comapre, look what Jeffy picked in the 5th round.

11 (144) Saints: Kenny Stills, WR, Oklahoma

Analysis: Stills can blaze down the field. He ran a 4.38 40-yard dash
at the scouting combine. The Saints need that dimension with Devery
Henderson still floating in free agency limbo. Even if Stills doesn't
catch many passes as a rookie, he could emerge as an important
component of this attack.

31 (164) Dolphins (from 49ers through Browns): Mike Gillislee, RB,
Florida

33 (166) Dolphins (Compensatory Selection): Caleb Sturgis, K, Florida

Analysis: A fifth-round run on special teamers concludes with Sturgis,
whose arrival obviously calls former Pro Bowler Dan Carpenter's job
security into question despite converting 82% of his field goal tries
in 2012.

There is only one way that Thomas helps the team, by being cut.

When you factor in Queasy and Coyle, any gain is wiped out.

That might be the case.

Recalling last season, the defense was surprisingly good early on. At
one point or another we see Starks giving his own sideline the finger
after he makes a play. Denials all around as to who the intended
recipient might be. We know Starks disappeared later in the season.

Could these guys have the same effect of Suh?

Seems like an obvious "yes."

This is year four for Queasy. Can he win the division, no way. Can
he even make the playoffs, I seriously doubt it. Is it a better team
not really. Some of the holes have been filled but new ones have
opened up and FA for the dolphins always looks better on paper.

Yeah, the little I know about him isn't good. Last I can tell he played
much at all was 2011 - graded 18th. Seems he suffered from
inconsistency. That said, I've become, well, queasy about Moore. The
last few times he played he looked like a gunslinger, bordering on
reckless. I don't know if this is serious interest or a bargaining chip
against Moore.
Walton ranked 38th of all qualifying OCs last year. Satele 31st. I've
read SS wants a starting gig and more money. And it sounds like there's
little faith in Brenner.

Can always re-sign Satele and keep Pouncy at Gaurd.

Unless we're going by "stats". Then they're better off replacing/moving the entire OL around.

I'm sure Lamar Miller won't mind another overhaul ....

Here's a place where we agree . . . except Albert - 8th ranked. By
stats, not a single OLman graded in top have in the last 8 games.
That's miserable. Pouncey, despite being a Pro-Bowl alternate, graded
worse than Smith. Chew on that.
In fairness, James was out of position though Thomas was awful
regardless of position.
I suspect Turner/Pouncey/Thomas is better than Pouncey/Satele/Turner if
only because Pouncey is so much better than Satele. I'm OK with
Albert/Pouncey. James looked good at RT - not above average, but good.
My kingdom for two average OGs.
