August's giveaway is finally upon us! After being pushed back several days due to me being unable to read a calendar (doh!), I'm excited to finally share the eighth installment in the Year of Giveaways. This month was actually tough for us because we could not think of anything appropriate! I'm not a big e-reader gal myself so it wasn't ever brought up when we discussed options. Then again, I never knew how much you could actually do with a Kindle Fire haha We have the last couple of months for 2013 planned out, but there's still one or two holes that need to be filled in 2013. Of course those prizes also depend on the amount of sponsors LCH snags, but at least we have a general layout for the most part. We wanted to focus more on the prizes at the end of the year since it'll be the last "hoorah" of sorts, so that meant going a little cheaper in the middle months. After seeing the Kindle Fire HD on sale on Amazon and reading more about it, I knew it'd be a great prize (and a great time to offer it!)
