Kicking off the festive retailing season, London’s Carnaby quarter is holding a Christmas shopping spectacular on Thursday 13th November.

150 shops, restaurants and bars will join forces to throw the ultimate Christmas party across 13 streets, with in-store events and discounts hoping to tempt festive shoppers to the area.

In addition to a 20 per cent discount for shoppers, there will be exclusive trend talks and live music as part of the Carnaby Christmas lights switch on, with a theme of fashion and over 50 DJs lined-up to set the festive scene.

Brands lined up to take part include Monki, Scotch & Soda, Cheap Monday, Lyle & Scott and ElevenParis, as well as brand new stores, Adidas Originals, SuperTrash and Nixon.

Style hunters will be on the prowl to photograph the best dressed shoppers and award them with an exclusive goodie bag worth £200, while the Facebook fashion shoot will offer style advice from top stylists. Superga will be offering shoe art services, Benefit will host beauty trend talks, and fashion designer, Sophie Hulme, will be DJing at Other with the chance for shoppers to win a Sophie Hulme handbag.

Finally, Carnaby is seeking budding filmmakers to create a 20 second Instagram video of their Carnaby shopping party, with the winner receiving £250 to spend in the area and a Lomography 360 camera.
