Thomas adjusted the sign in the window. He'd already put out some ads in a few other places: mailers, flyers. He had no idea how many people might be interested, but after getting into a conversation with a local studio owner while waiting for coffee, he found himself an impromptu ballroom dance instructor.
With ten days until Valentine's Day, the studio owner was hoping to drum up some business by offering extra ballroom lessons. Thomas thought it was a grand idea; maybe he'd stay on as an instructor if there was enough interest. His shop was doing well and maybe it would be unwise to take too much time away from it, but he still thought it could be fun to do this once or twice a week after the holiday passed.
He made sure all the lights were on in the studio space - one wall had mirrors all along it, the other wall had large windows to let the daylight in, giving a warmth to the already bright room. It wasn't entirely romantic, he supposed, but it was perfect for learning.
