With the Cigar Industry in full tilt as preparations for this years IPCPR are being made, Davidoff has announced that they will be hosting their 4th Golden Band Awards as well as the nominees. A standard black tie dinner ( would you expect anything less from Davidoff? ) will be their stage for recognition and ceremony for 32 separate retailers across seven categories.
In a recent press release Jim Young, President of Davidoff North America stated “The Davidoff Golden Band Awards epitomize the success of the brand which has been based on decades of close and longstanding partnerships with trusted merchants. Davidoff has a long history of cooperation with its family of retailers to help them expand their businesses, and to discuss best practices. They successfully contribute towards the increased growth of the Davidoff brand.â€
A new category, “Best New Appointed Merchant”, will give praise and admiration to the newest members of the Appointed Merchant network which will be based off their performance over the first 12 months of sales as well as implementation of the brand’s specific programs.
The winners will be announced July 19th at the event. Winners will have the right to carry an exclusive cigar for one year.
