Not to mention that, if Betsy DeVos’s agenda of school privatization goes through, it would probably bring with it a rapid acceleration in the resegregation of American education, beyond even current levels. This is literally portraying the perpetrator of an injustice as one of the victims of that very injustice.
Opposition to Betsy DeVos is not possibly comprarable to the opposition of desegregation in New Orleans, where Ruby Bridges at 6 years old was met by mobs threatening her life.
It’s intellectually dishonest and ahistorical; aside from the other obvious issues with the suggestion.
