Every little girl needs at least one princess party in her life! As part of my new paper line of crafts with Darice I designed a perfectly pink and gold princess party collection full of crowns, diamonds and glitter! I’m particularly proud of the princess castle cake topper. It’s easy to assemble and can make any cake, homemade or store bought, beautiful with very little effort!

Each paper craft collection, nine in total, includes three packaged elements: Cake Decorating Kit, Banner & Party Accessories Kit, and Favor Box Kit.

The Cake Decorating Kit:

My designs all start with the cake. We all love a beautiful cake for our parties, but they can be expensive if we buy them and they can take a ton of time if we decorate them! I say, let’s just embellish them with lovely paper crafts! {wink}

Each cake in my paper craft collections have a 3-D cake topper like this princess birthday cake that is easily assembled, plus a cake wrapper. The wrapper is designed for multiple cake sizes and even works great on sheet cakes! I have to admit, that the wrappers make me a bit happy. I love the pop they give each cake, but I also LOVE that they hide any imperfections in the icing. {grin}

The Princess cake offers the two-layer castle, pennants that can be personalized with a sticker sheet for the child’s age, and the cake wrapper.

Next to the cake, my favorite element of each of these collections is the glitter. We went heavy on the glitter and use a thick cardstock throughout all the pieces. Both absolutely necessary for partyware! On the cake, see that the crown on the gate, the topiaries, and the flags, all have glitter. It’s a perfect no-flake glitter so you don’t have to be concerned that it will come off on the cake.

Banner & Party Accessories Kit:

The Banner & Party Accessories Kit for each collection took a great deal of time, but they were all worth it. Each includes two banners and 50 or so embellishments that work great for cupcake toppers, straw slips, banner embellishments, favor bag accessories, scrapbooking goodies to scrapbook the party, and on and on. For instance, in the Princess Party kit, there are over 60 pieces, including two lengths of amazing silver twine to hang the banners and a sheet of foam adhesive dots (I LOVE!) so you have everything on hand to craft.

Everything in these images (banners and table decorations) were all done with one Banner & Party Accessories Kit. Just one!

Favor Box Kit:

Finally I created a favor box kit for each collection. These boxes just pop into place, all have glitter and these are even 2-D with foam adhesives between each layer so they pop right out at you! The kits also include cello bags for your treats and clear stickers to close the bags, perfect for taking sweet treats home!

I’ll be sharing all of the party collections over the next few weeks. There are nine total designs:

Haunted (Halloween Party)

Let It Snow (Christmas/Winter Party)

Merry & Bright (Christmas Party)

Pop Fizz Clink (New Years, Anniversary, Graduation Parties)

Once Upon A Princess Party

Aargh! Pirate Party

Hip Hip Hooray Colorful Party

Geometric Party

Sports Party (perfect for football, baseball, basketball and soccer!)

I hope you like them as much as I do. They were truly a labor of love, but worth every single long hour!
