NOTICE
RECRUITMENT FOR THE POST OF CONSTABLE (TECHNICAL & TRADESMEN) (MALE/FEMALE)-
2016-17

The Sector Adm IsG of CRPF as mentioned below will conduct an examination for Recruitment of Male and Female Indian citizens who are ordinarily resident of their respective states to fill up the vacancies of Constables (Technical & Tradesmen) i.e Driver/Fitter/Bugler/Tailor/Brass Band/Pipe Band/ Cobbler /Carpenter/ Gardner/ Painter /Cook / Water Carrier/ Washer(Men/Women)/ Safai Karamchari / Barber/ Hair Dresser in Central Reserve Police Force as per the Recruitment Scheme/ Rules formulated by the Ministry of Home Affairs. Trade wise vacancy of each state as mentioned in para/3 of this advertisement notice is purely tentative and may increase/decrease at any time/stage of recruitment process due to administrative reasons. The recruitment process will consist of Physical Standards Test (PST), Physical Efficiency Test (PET), Documentation, Written Examination, Trade Test and Medical Examination.
Some set of instructions:
(i) Application from candidates will be accepted through ON-LINE MODE only. As such candidates are required to apply only ONLINE. No other mode for submission of application is allowed.
(ii) Physical Standards Test (PST)/Physical Efficiency Test (PET), Documentation, Written Test, Trade Test and Medical examination will be conducted by the CRPF at respective Recruitment canters as per schedule.
(iii) Tattoos marked on traditional sites of the body like inner aspect of forearm, but only left forearm, being non-saluting limb or dorsum of the hand are to be allowed. Size must be less than 1⁄4 of the particular part (Elbow or Hand) of the body. (See para 11(IV)(A)6 of this advertisement notice)
(iv) Application fee @ Rs 100/- from General and OBC candidates will be charged. Women candidates and candidates belonging to Scheduled Caste, Scheduled Tribe and Ex- Servicemen eligible for reservation are exempted from paying fee.
(v) Candidates should also not wait till the last date of application to avoid a situation where they are deprived to fill up application due to reasons of crash of website due to heavy influx of applications and delays attributable to technical errors.
(vi) Candidates belonging to SC/ST category are exempted for payment of fees. As such candidate who applies in exam indicating his category as SC or ST must produce a certificate in any of the format issued by a authority to prove his status. Failure to produce certificate in any of the format will render his candidature to be cancelled at PST/PET stage itself.
(vii) The Call letter/Admit card to candidates will be uploaded on the website www.crpfindia.com at each stage i.e. for PST/PET & documentation, Written Test, Trade Test and Detailed medical examination during the recruitment process. Besides, shortcomings, if any, noticed in online application of the candidate at initial stage, the candidate will be informed through SMS/E-mail to sort out query immediately as far as possible.
(viii) Candidates who qualify in PST/PET & documentation will only be eligible to appear in OMR based written examination.
(ix) State/Trade and category wise result of written test cum merit list etc (for male/female separately) will be drawn.
(x) To ensure smooth, transparent, accurate and minimize human error, force will employ adequate measures and modernized means for conduct of PET event and computing of PST details.
(xi) The written examination will be bilingual i.e in English & Hindi.
(xii) Result of written examination will be declared through website.
(xiii) All the candidates qualified in written examination will undergo trade test and called for trade test in order of merit list in each category/trade. Admit card/call letter intimating place and date on which they are required to appear for trade test will be uploaded in the website i.e. www.crpfindia.com
(xiv) The candidates who qualify in trade test will be shortlisted for Detailed Medical Examination (DME) based on performance in written examination. The candidates will be medically examined in accordance with existing medical guidelines to assess their physical and medical fitness as prescribed in the eligibility conditions. During detailed medical examination, “Temporary unfitness” will not be allowed. Detailed instructions on procedure of medical examination and relevant provisions are elaborated in further paras.
(xv) After detailed medical examination and further, where required, a review medical examination, State and category wise merit for General, SC, ST, OBC & Ex-servicemen candidates will be drawn separately for each trade and category for male & female candidates, on the basis of the aggregate marks obtained in written test by the candidates.
(xvi) After drawal of merit list final result will be declared through website i.e. www.crpfindia.com and list of selected candidates State/Trade/Category wise will be uploaded in CRPF website.
EXAMINATION FEE-
Male candidates belonging to General(UR)/OBC category applying for recruitment to the above posts should deposit Rs 100/- (Rupees Hundred)Only as examination fee through following mode. Here it is also mentioned that if a SC/ST candidates applied from General Category due to non availability of vacancy of respective trade in their state or any other reason, they also exempted for payment of fees:-
(1) Through SBI Challan (Challan other than SBI will not be accepted). Payment of fee through SBI Challan will be accepted upto 20/02/2017 only.
(2) Net Banking through any bank
(3) Credit card /Debit Card of any bank. Details of remittance particular are also mentioned in the online application.
MODE OF PAYMENT:
(i) The payment of Examination fee will be On-line mode.
(ii) For payment of Examination fee, candidate should click on payment mode column in part-III of application form and he will be connected to payment website as per following procedure.
(iii) The facility and complete process/guidelines for submitting online application is available on website i.e. www.crpfindia.com
(iv) Women candidates and candidates belonging to Scheduled Caste, Scheduled Tribe and Ex- Servicemen eligible for reservation are exempted from paying fee.
NOTE I: Fee once paid will not be refunded under any circumstances. Candidates are advised to visit only www.crpfindia.com directly and fill in application form. No other link has 26 been created by CRPF for filling application form and payment of fee. Candidates will be responsible for any loss on account of payment of fee in case instruction are not followed resulting in incomplete application form or fee paid through some other link or multiple payments are made against single registration. Before filling application form candidates should ensure that requisite internet speed is available to avoid technical error during processing of application form.
NOTE II: Fee paid by modes other than as stated above, will NOT be accepted.
NOTE III: In case of non receipt of requisite fee from candidates (except exempted category) their application will be straightaway rejected.
NOTE IV: Tariff /Taxes charges will be borne by the candidate in addition to fees as applicable for Bank.
NOTE V: Fee should be paid online using internet banking or Debit Cards, Credit Cards(Service charge applicable for the bank will be borne by the candidate only) or can be paid through SBI challan in any branch of SBI. If the fees paid through a challan in SBI branch copy of challan be produced by the candidates at the time of PST. Payment of fee through SBI Challan will be accepted upto 20/02/2017 only and thereafter services disabled.
NOTE VI : No amount will be refunded in any case. Candidates are advised to be careful while making payment and avoid making multiple payment against single registration, as payment made are nonrefundable. If they are making such payment, it will be their own risk/loss.
NOTE VII : Fee paid before 31/01/2017 ie opening date of online application form will also not be accepted.
