Methi Paneer Recipe



What You Will Need:

250gm methi (Fenugreek) leaves (blanched and pureed)

250gm cottage cheese (paneer)

4 dried chilies (sabut laal mirch)

2 tablespoon oil

1 teaspoon garam masala

2 teaspoon dhania powder

½ cup tomato puree

Salt to taste

Preparation

Heat two teaspoon oil in a kadai and throw in the dried chili. When the chilies slightly darken, pick out two of them from the pan and keep aside. Now pour in the tomato puree and mix for a while. Add salt, garam masala,and dhania powder and fry them well till the oil stars to separate.

Once this mix is ready, add in the methi puree, mix it up, and then add cubes of cottage cheese or paneer. Let it simmer for 3 minutes and your methi paneer is ready to serve. Use the two red chilies to garnish this dish. Your guests will lick their fingers once they taste this dish!

Paneer Anardana Kebab Recipe



What You Will Need:

500gm cottage cheese (paneer)

2 medium tomato (cut into 1 square-inch pieces)

2 green capsicums (diced)

3 tablespoon oil

1 teaspoon chaat masala

For the Marinade –

½ cup hung curd

1 teaspoon ginger paste

1 teaspoon garlic paste

A pinch of turmeric

½ teaspoon garam masala

½ teaspoon chili powder

1 teaspoon lemon juice

2 teaspoon anardana powder

2-3 tablespoon fresh cream

½ teaspoon red chili powder (Kashmiri red chili powder)

Salt to taste

Preparation:

Cut the paneer into cubes, and mix the ingredients for marination together and coat the paneer cubes with the marinade. Keep this aside for about 15 minutes. Heat some oil in a pan (tawa) and shallow fry the paneer till they turn golden brown.

Drain on a tissue paper. Next, toss the capsicum and tomato dices into the marinade and fry them in the remaining oil in the tawa, just for a few minutes. Place the sautéed tomato and capsicum pieces on top of the paneer cubes and pierce through a toothpick to keep them all together, or plate it however you like. Finish with a touch of chaat masala and serve hot.
