I’ll just go ahead and say it – winter is not my favorite season. After the holiday festivities are over, I’m pretty much always ready for the sun to come back. During the darker seasons, it can be easy to get into a slump and feel unmotivated, especially for those of us who work from home. This past week has been snowy, icy, and gloomy as heck here in the Pacific Northwest. So to combat cabin fever and get more inspired again, I’ve been redecorating my bedroom (which is currently also my workspace) by stringing white lights around the ceiling and creating some fun wall art. I also bought a few new indoor plants that should survive winter. It’s amazing how much of a difference it has made in my productivity and overall mood!
