My goal between now and Spring, is to get healthier. I've got some weight to lose and now that I've had my surgery on my spine and am getting back to normal, I want to get more active, lose some weight and get into more healthy habits before the warm Spring weather gets here. The scale we tried is really sleek and modern. Its the Rev Digital Bath Scale. The platform is made of impact-resistant tempered glass and supports up to 400 pounds/180 kg. Not only is it digital but it also has a numbered electro-mechanical dial. Its has a digital LCD display and when you step on the scale it lights up and is very bright so you can use it even if you don't have the best lighting in your bathroom. You can actually see the numbers perfectly in complete darkness.
On the bottom of the scale, there is a simple unit button to easily change the LCD weight display to read either pounds or kg. And if you're on a healthy weight loss program and want to consistently monitor your weight, it has an alarm that reminds you to measure your weight at the same time everyday. Its also auto-calibrated and automatically turns off to conserve the battery life. And for batteries, all you need is 3 AA batteries and thanks to the auto-off feature, you're batteries will last you a really long time!
I'm always a little sceptical about bathroom scales and whether they are accurate. So I tested our Ozeri scale with a 40 pound dumbbell and it was right on the money!
