Can you believe we are on the last day of the Seven Steps for Setting Up a Stellar Autism Room. We soared through organization, classroom structure, schedules, visuals, data, work tasks, and now communication. I hope this summer series has been helpful to you! Time to finish up communication. I really write about communication all the time! I think I was a speech therapist in a prior life. But that goes to show how essential communication training is. It is a major component of a special education teacher’s life! Really – every task and lesson in your class should have a communication twist or aspect.
