From 1st to 7th June, Australia will join many countries around the globe in celebrating one of the most popular classic cocktails in the world, the forever-loved Negroni. The first week of June is Negroni Week and Campari Australia are making sure the country does it justice this year by spreading the love across the country's many top bars and restaurants; for a good cause too.
Each participating bar and restaurant will be donating $1 from every Negroni, or Negroni inspired product, purchased to the charity of their choice. The venue who raises the most funds for their charity will have an extra $5000 donated to their cause by Campari Australia.
Never has there been a more important time to go down to your favourite restaurant or bar and indulge in that iconic mix of Gin, Campari, and sweet red vermouth.
It's a mixture that was created by chance in Florence around 1920 by Count Camillo Negroni and now enjoys many interpretations; it's on you to find which version you like the most in your city.
