Five Elements Theory is the most important part of Fengshui Theory.

Everybody belongs to one of the 12 Chinese zodiac signs and a 12-year cycle according to the year in which they were born.
One of the five elements is associated with each of the Chinese zodiac signs and 12-year cycles.
Chinese astrology asserts that personality and luck are determined by both zodiac sign (element) and 12-year cycle element, while life force (or qi) is determined by birth date and time.
1. Earth Roosters (1909, 1969)
- People born in an Earth element and Rooster sign year are very lively and generous with a style of generals. They are also said to have bright prospects.

- People born in a Rooster year corresponding to the Wood element are fond of being surrounded by others. They are particularly good at playing jokes to relax a tense atmosphere, and they attach great importance to their family. Wood Roosters are rather energetic and over-confident, however, they also have tender feelings, therefore, they long to be loved by others.
