MicroBiz Cloud is an iOS app that integrates with web based software that allows companies to ring up sales on iPads, accept payments and manage their day to day business operations. The application is easy to use and also powerful enough to automate many of the tasks for a typical retail establishment.
User Interface and Key Features
The iPad app is used mostly to ring up sales. A credit card reader can be plugged into the iPad to accept mobile payments easily. There is also a wireless barcode scanner that can be used to scan items being sold. Receipts can be emailed to the buyer or they can be printed on a wireless printer.
The iPad app hooks up with the cloud based management software. This serves as the “back-end” of the business. The cloud app manages inventory, purchasing, receiving, prices, promos, and orders. This system can also handle multiple registers and multiple store locations as well.
The user interface of the application is clean and very intuitive. At the top users can choose from Register, Work Order, Reports, and Store Operations. There is a search bar for searching for SKU’s or products by name or ID. Businesses can also search from a customer database to help them market to customers who might be looking for a specific product. There is a “Quick Pick” menu where business owners can setup products they sell all the time so they can quickly tap an item and add it to the bill. Overall it’s a very clean interface anyone should be able to pick up quickly after a few sales.
