Back in 2011, I didn't have the funds to buy vBulletin, so I used SMF for awhile until one of my sponsors decided to buy us a vBulletin 4 license. SMF was pretty cool and I'd recommend it for any new forum owner that doesn't have the money to buy a paid forum software license.
So, have you ever ran an SMF forum or is this software relatively new to you?
