What would you do if you were wealthy, smart, and beautiful, but your philandering husband no longer seems interested in you? Worse, you discover he plans on attending a wild costume party on a blimp! Naturally you’d disguise yourself as a sultry vamp, crash the bash, and try to win your man back.

Thus was the premise of Madam Satan, the wild 1930 Cecil B. DeMille pre-code rom-com quasi-musical starring Kay Johnson and Reginald Denny which Turner Classic Movies’ Robert Osborne called “the strangest movie ever made by DeMille”.
