Continuing the tradition of bringing big name acts to Lima, on October 1st the Lima Veterans Memorial Civic & Convention Center hosted the Nashville based funk-rock Band Here Come the Mummies. There are rumored to be several Grammy awards among the members, though this is difficult to verify, as the identities of band members are kept “under wraps.”
Here Come the Mummies are known for their unrelenting live show and their performance in Lima was no exception. From their dramatic entrance marching a drumline through Crouse Hall to the light and laser show accompanying their live performance, all while wrapped up tight in their bandages.
Crouse Performance Hall has hosted a multitude of shows in its 27 years including the Broadway in Lima series which has brought top-quality Broadway tours to town. The 1,784- seat proscenium theatre offers performers a wide stage area for the most elaborate set designs to the simplest stage set-ups.
