Today’s Football Accumulator Tips

Stoke v Newcastle – Stoke win

It’s impossible to have any faith in the Magpies considering their away form in the Premier League this season. Steve McClaren knows his side need to improve their results on the road if they are to stand any chance of staying up. They travel to the Britannia Stadium which is never an easy place to go. After a poor run of results, Stoke have won their last two games and have enough skill and talent to see off the side from the North East. Newcastle have conceded 11 goals in their last four away matches and scored just twice. Although they are now unbeaten in three at St James’ Park, they simply have to improve their away form and I don’t think it’ll start here.

Man United v Watford – Man Utd win

Louis Van Gaal is still under pressure and his job and there is still constant speculation about whether he will be replaced by Jose Mourinho. He’s had a positive week though with a thumping win over Midtjylland in the Europa League followed by a 3-2 victory over Arsenal. He’s also unearthed Marcus Rashford, a striker who could go on to be a big hit at Old Trafford. They at back at Old Trafford here hosting Watford. It’s been a mixed month or so for the Hornets. They’ve been solid at Vicarage Road, but they’ve lost three of the last four away matches and I think they will struggle to collect maximum points here. United have won three of their last four home matches and I think they can continue their successful seven days.

Sevilla v Eibar – Sevilla win

A very short one this, but almost a certainty for tonight’s accumulator tip. Sevilla are still without an away win in the league and are now the only team without one. They are back on familiar territory here though where they are strong, claiming victory 11 times this season. Eibar didn’t turn up in their 0-1 defeat to Las Palmas on Friday night and they appear to be going through a bad patch of form. They’ve shipped 11 goals in their last three away games and they have won just once in six. They have had a splendid season, but they are just starting to drop off now and I think they will come unstuck here. The men from Seville are on an 11 game winning streak here and it’s unlikely to stop.

Hoffenheim v Augsburg – Augsburg win

Hoffenheim can probably consider themselves unlucky on Sunday after were defeated by Dortmund. They were 1-0 up for the majority of the tie and looked to be claiming an unexpected three points in their battle against relegation. However, the home side came roaring back late on in the match and ended up winning 3-1. They are back at home, but they face a very solid Augsburg side. They’ve only lost one of their last four away matches and haven’t conceded in any of the other three. They’ve seen off strugglers Hannover and mid-table Hamburg in recent away matches and they should have too much for their hosts. They have only won twice at home all season, once against bottom side Hannover and the other was a surprise victory over Mainz two weeks ago. I don’t think they can get the better of Augsburg here though.

Hertha Berlin v Eintracht Frankfurt – Hertha Berlin win

Hertha Berlin are playing well in the Bundesliga and it’s now just a single defeat in eight. They’ve only lost once at home all season, winning six and drawing four here. They’ve only conceded eight goals at home throughout the campaign and look solid enough to get the better of Frankfurt. They’ve undefeated in six home matches and have the 5th best home form in the league. They beat Mainz before drawing with Dortmund, Augsburg & Wolfsburg. Frankfurt drew 0-0 at home against Schalke at the weekend, their second goalless draw in a row. It’s just three goals in five matches now though for the visitors and they’ve not won since their 3-2 victory over Wolfsburg six games ago. They’ve conceded nine goals in their last four away games and I think their miserable on the road will continue here.
