Punjab Public Service Commission (PPSC) 2017 Essential Qualifications
System Analyst (Group-A)
Should possess M.E. M.Tech. degree in Computer Science/Computer Engineering/ Computer Technology/ Information Technology or its equivalent with First Division from a recognized university or institution or have obtained minimum 60% marks in aggregate and have atleast two years experience in the relevant field of Computer Applications or Information Technology

Should possess 'C' Level Computer Course Examination (Equivalent to M.
Division conducted by the DOEACC, Department of Information Technol
Communication and Information Technology, Government of India and who have at least two years experience in the relevant field of Computer Applications or Information Technology

Should possess B.E. B.Tech Computer Engineering / Computer Science Computer Technology or Information Technology or equivalent with First division from a recognized university or institution or have obtained minimum 60% marks in aggregate and have at least three years experience in the relevant field of Computer Applications or Information Technology

Should possess 'B' Level Computer Course Examination (Equivalent to MCA Level) with First Division conducted by the DOEACC, Department of Information Technology, Ministry of Communication and Information Technology, Govt. of India and have at least three years experience in the relevant field of Computer Applications or Information Technology

Programmer Group-B
Should possess M.E./ M. Tech. degree in Computer Science or Computer Engineering degree or Computer Technology degree or Information Technology degree, Electronics degree with First division from a recognized university or Institution

Should have passed 'C' Level Computer Course Examination (Equivalent to M. Tech. Level) conducted by the Department of Electronic and Accreditation of Computer courses, Department of Information Technology, Ministry of Communication and Information Technology, Govt. of India with atleast fifty five percent marks;

Should possess B.E. / B. Tech. degree in Computer Science or Computer Engineering degree Computer Technology degree or Information Technology degree Electronics degree or its equivalent from a recognized university or Institution with atleast sixty percent marks in aggregate and have at least one year experience in the relevant field of Computer Applications or Information

Net Work Engineer Group-B
Should possess B.E. or B. Tech degree in Computer Science or Information Technology degree or Electronics and Communication degree with First Division from a recognized University or Institution and have at least two years experience in configuration & troubleshooting or network
devices like routers, switches, firewall, modems, CISCO IDS, CISCO works, net work protocols like TCP or IP, Ethernet, security Protocols or interfaces

PPSC 2017 Age Limit
Candidate should not be below 18 years and above 38 years of age on 2017
(1)
Upper age limit may be relaxed up to 45 years for all States/ Central Government employees
(2)
The Upper age limit is relaxable upto 43 years for Scheduled Castes of all States and Backward Classes of Punjab only
(3)
Ex-servicemen of Punjab Domicile shall be allowed to deduct the period of his service in the Armed Forces of Union from his actual age and if the resultant age does not exceed the maximum age limit prescribed for direct appointment to such a vacancy in the Service Rules concerned by
more than three years, he shall be deemed to satisfy the condition regarding age limit

Upper age limit is also relaxable upto 42 years for Widows, Divorcees and certain other Categories of Women
(5)
Upper age limit is also relaxable upto 48 years for Physically Handicapped of Punjab.
