Forest Section Officers ( FSO ) - Must possess a Bachelor’s Degree in Botany or Forestry or Horticulture or Zoology or Physics or Chemistry or Mathematics or Statistics or Geology or Agriculture as a Subject Bachelor’s degree in Engineering with Chemical Engineering or Mechanical Engineering or Civil Engineering of any University in India Established or Incorporated by or under a Central Act State Actor Provincial Act or an Institution Recognized by the University Grants Commission or an Equivalent Qualification
Forest Beat Officer ( FBO ) - Must have passed Intermediate Examination or its Equivalent
Assistant Beat Officer (ABO ) - Must have passed 10th class Examination or its Equivalent
Bunglow Watcher (BW) - Must Have Passed 10th class Examination or its Equivalent
Thanadar - Must have Passed 10th Class Examination or its Equivalent
Technical Assistant (TA ) - Must possess a trade certificate of draftsman (civil) Trade i.e ITI in the State or its Equivalent Examination
Age for The Posts Of Forest Section Officer / Forest Beat Officer / Assistant Beat Officer / Bunglow Watcher / Thanada - Minimum 18 years & Maximum 30 years as on 2016. The Upper age limit for the Candidate belonging to SC / ST and BC Candidates is 35 years as on 2016
Age for The Posts Of Technical Assistant - Minimum 18 years & Maximum 36 years as on 2016 The Upper age limit for the Candidate Belonging to SC / ST and BC candidates is 41 years as on 2016 Method of Selection for Forest Section Officer / Forest Beat Officer / Assistant Beat Officer / Bungalow Watcher / Thanedar
Physical Measurements - Candidates Must Obtain Physical Measurement Certificate Issued By Medical Officer Not Below The Rank Of Civil Assistant Surgeon And Should Upload Along With The Application Form The Certificate Must Be Furnished To The Forest Department At The Time Of Certificate Verification
The following physical measurements are mandatory for the posts of Forest Section Officer / Forest Beat Officer / Assistant Beat Officer / Bunglow Watcher / Thanadar. (These measurements are not essential for the post of Technical Assistant.)
Physical measurements For Men
He is not less than 163 Cms in height
He has 79 Cms around the Chest on expiration and must have on full inspiration an Expansion of not less than 5 Cms and
Physical Measurements Women
She is not less than 150 Cms in height
She has 74 Cms around the Chest on Expiration and must Have on full Inspiration an Expansion of not less than 5 Cms and
Qualification Candidates Height
Men - 158 Cms.
Women - 145 Cms
Written Examination -Qualifying Examination consisting of three (3) Papers
Paper I - Essay Writing in English or Telugu or Urdu. This Examination will be of One (1) hour Duration and Maximum Marks of 20
Paper II - General Knowledge .This examination will be of one and Half hour(90 min) duration and maximum marks of 100
Paper III - General Mathematics This Examination will be of One and Half Hour (90 min) Duration and Maximum Marks of 100
Fee - Each applicant must pay Rs. 100/- towards Application Processing Fee and Examination Fee RS.120/- Payment of Rs. 100/- towards application processing fee is compulsory for all Applicants.
Procedure of Selection - The Selection of Candidates For Appointment to The Posts Will Be Made By Written Examination (Objective Type), Walking Test And Medical Test As Per Rules For Those Qualified In Written Examination For Eligible Candidates
Mode of Payment of Fee
The Candidate has to logon to the Website www.tspsc.gov.in and enter his/her Basic Personal Details like Name, Father’s Name, Date of Birth, and Community.
Immediately on entering the above details the Applicant will get (downloadable)- Challan Form to pay the Fee at AP Online centers /State Bank of India
The Applicant should pay the prescribed Fee in any one of the A.P. Online centers / State Bank of India and obtain Fee paid challan with Journal Number in the first instance
On the next working day after payment of Fee the Applicant should again visit Website and enter the Journal Number to get the format of Application. The applicant has to invariably fill all the columns in the Application and should submit ON-Line. Even after making payment of fee, candidate fails to submit the bio-data particulars, such applications shall be rejected without giving any notice
If any candidate fails to enter “Community” for any reason, they will be treated as an OC without giving any notice
