“Staying Healthy in the Golden Years”

On Monday, September 14, 2015, from 10:00 am to 11:00 am, the City of Temecula Community Services Department will present a free “Senior Talk” lecture at the Mary Phillips Senior Center (MPSC), 41845 6th Street in Old Town Temecula.  “Senior Talk” is a monthly series featuring speakers, providing expertise and educational information on physical and mental issues, current events, social issues, and more.

The September Lecture features Dr. Chris Boman, a Chiropractor from Neuroedge Chiropractic, speaking about ‘Staying Healthy in the Golden Years.’

Did you know that the ambulatory elderly fill 9-13 prescriptions every year and take an average of five prescription drugs? Approximately 15% of all elderly hospitalizations are caused by or related to drug side effects. There is a desperate need for alternatives to medicine that will prevent illness and disease. Information will be presented that can be incorporated into your daily routine that will enable you to feel healthier and stay vibrant in your Golden Years. Join Dr. Chris for this 40-minute talk, followed by a 20-minute Question & Answer session.

Dr. Chris works with a family practice, Neuroedge Chiropractic, in Murrieta. His mission is to change the way people think about natural healthcare. Dr. Chris is passionate about his profession and loves to share information about alternative health choices.

This free program is offered to adults. For more information about this program, please call the Mary Phillips Senior Center (MPSC) at 951-694-6464.
