That was back in September 2011, when we witnessed one of the most beautiful on-screen couples to grace the television screens of Pakistan. Infact, the show not only became popular in Pakistan, but all over the world. No such Pakistani show ever received such love and adulation from it’s fans.
The show was… HUMSAFAR.
Based on Farhat Ishtiaq’s novel by the same name and directed by Sarmad Sultan Khoosat, Humsafar boasted an uniquely talented cast; Mahira Khan, Fawad Afzal Khan and Naveen Waqar.
The Mahira Khan-Fawad Khan pairing was especially loved, for the intense acting and at ease chemistry between the actors. Since the show ended in 2012, we have only seen the pair in various award shows, commercials or fashion shows. But now we see the pair back on our screens, in a special celebrity chat show.
TUC Lighter Side of Life, hosted by actress Mahira Khan, invites the actor Fawad Afzal Khan for a very candid interview. The promos are already making the audience anxious to see their favourite pair back on the screens.

Produced by 7th Sky Entertainment and telecast on HUM TV, TUC Lighter Side of Life has seen celebrities like musician Ali Azmat, cricketer Shoaib Akhtar, actor Ali Zafar and the multi-talented Bushra Ansari grace the show. On Saturday 8th March 2014, it is Fawad Khan’s turn to charm the audience with his wit and persona.
