Today, fans of Parth Samthaan were in for a rude shock when an entertainment portal published a story about a sleazy Whatsapp group apparently created by the Kaisi Yeh Yaariyan actor. The actor denied his involvement and said he was being framed. When BollywoodLife sent him a text, the actor said, “Just wait for a day or so…You will get your answer.” Though the sentence was a short one, we the actor showed off a confidence that was rare given the kind of hullabaloo the news has generated.
When we probed him further on whether he planned to take a legal recourse or not, he did not revert. While many fans are saddened after reading the scandalous report, others have come out in support of him. The names of his co-stars Karan Jotwani and Utkarsh Gupta, were also mentioned in the controversial story. Utkarsh, in fact told in the report that such a Whatsapp group existed but it was defunct now.
Parth got his ticket to stardom with the show. Recently, he was the highest-placed newcomer on the list of the Sexiest Asian Men. He has also bagged his first film opposite Sanah Kapur. In short, the shocking news has come at a time when his popularity is at its peak.
Earlier in the day, a leading TV portal leaked a snapshot of a whatsapp chat that reportedly belonged to Parth. The actor was seen discussing his conquests. The name of the group was also very offensive, “Wh**res and more Wh**res”. While quite a few fangirls are in shock, many of Parth’s fans have come out in support in his hour of crisis.
