Reliance Jio applies for MSO licence
Reliance Jio Infocomm is seeking a pan-India MSO licence that will enable it to get into the broadcast distribution business. Its subsidiary, Reliance Jio Media, has applied for the licence. The distribution of TV channels through cable will pose a direct threat to MSOs and DTH operators.
