Samsung’s latest flagship Galaxy S5 is the talk of stateside and it is hitting the US market in April. Major carriers as well as some big retailers have started accepting pre-orders for it. Let us see where we can get the best deal on this revolutionary device.

US’s largest LTE carrier Verizon has not yet started accepting pre-order for it but interested customer can leave their e-mail on its website  for more information while all other four majors, AT&T, Sprint, T-Mobile and US Cellular have opened up pre-orders for Galaxy S5. Big retailers like BestBuy and
RadioShack are also accepting pre-orders.

AT&T is accepting pre-orders for Galaxy S5 at $199.99 with two year contract and also waiving off activation fee $36. If you book the device up to March 31, 2014, you will also receive free $100 bill credit. Off the contract the carrier has priced Galaxy S5 at $649.99. Customers have option to get it on installment under Next program for monthly payment of $25 for next 26 months or $32.50 for 20 months.

AT&T recently has doubled data for its Mobile Share Value Plans so you can get 2GB LTE data plan including unlimited talk and text for $65 a month.

Sprint is accepting pre-order at $199.99 after $50 mail-in rebate with a two year contract but carrier is not waiving off activation fee $36 as AT&T has offered. You can also place pre-order for it with $0 down and device charges $27.09 monthly for 23 months and final payment for the device $26.92. And if you sign up for a Framily Plan, it will also gets you a free Samsung Galaxy Tab 3.

Sprint’s Framily plan starts at $55 for 1GB data including unlimited talk and text.

T-Mobile has started accepting pre-order from yesterday for Galaxy S5 at retail price of $660 or $0 down payment plus monthly payment of $27.50 for 24 months for device, $10 for SIM starter kit is extra.

With pre-order of Galaxy S5, T-Mobile is also offering early termination fee (ETF) if you are switching from other carriers. T-Mobile is also offering $120 off if you buy Galaxy Tab 3. These offers are valid up to March 31, 2014.

T-Mobile’s Simple Choice plan offers unlimited talk, text and 1GB data for just $50 only.

America’s fifth largest carrier, US Cellular opened up pre-order for Galaxy S5 at $199.99 and also offering $50 Google Play credit. The carrier has recently slashed rates of its data plan and now 1GB data plan costs $40, so with device access fee of $45, you have to pay $85 for unlimited talk, text and 1GB data plan.

Retailer Company Best Buy has also started accepting pre-orders for AT&T’s Galaxy S5 for $299.99 with a two year contract and Sprint’s Galaxy S5 for $199.99 with two year contract. Customers will also receive a $10 Best Buy free gift card.

Another big retailer RadioShack  is offering a $50 straight-up discount coupon on pre-order of Galaxy S5, plus credit for your old phones like $75 for old Galaxy SIII AT&T 16GB, $300 for Samsung Galaxy Note 3 AT&T 32GB or iPhone 5s AT&T/Verizon 64GB.

All above pre-orders are for Galaxy S5 in Charcoal Black and Shimmery White color and they will deliver the device by April 11 except AT&T which has promised to deliver it on April 8.

From above, it looks T-Mobile is offering Galaxy S5 at the minimum initial payout.

About the Samsung Galaxy S5

The Samsung Galaxy S5 is a 5.1-inch smartphone having 1080p Super AMOLED display powered by 2.5GHz quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 801 and runs the Android KitKat 4.4.2 version OS. It has 2GB RAM and comes in two versions of 16GB and 32GB internal storage with microSD expansion. The device has network and connectivity feature of  802.11ac MIMO and LTE Cat. 4.
