Desktop Software
Office Mix (Type: Free, OS: Windows – all versions)
Earlier this week, Microsoft released the first preview of Office Mix. Office Mix makes it easier to create and share PowerPoint presentations. In addition, it offers you tools to record the presentations, draw on slides, add multimedia files on slides, as well as record your on-screen activities.
Furthermore, you can also add polls, quizzes, exercises, and content from other applications. It also lets you upload the presentation to the Office Mix cloud in a single-click.

Share to Speech lets you listen to web articles. Just point a Web page, or a document – all popular formats are compatible, to the app, and it will automatically detect the language and read it out loud to you. It also lets you save the audio as an mp3 file, allowing you to listen to it later.

HoverReader is a Chrome extensions that displays a pop-up box every time you hover over a link. This tool can come very useful especially when you are on sites like Reddit, Google News, TechMeme — where only an excerpt of the article is provided.
Dewey Bookmarks
Chrome’s built-in bookmark manager is fine, however it hasn’t gone through much change over last few years. Dewey Booksmarks presents your bookmarks into a rather Pinterest-esque way, and lets you add custom tags and screenshots making it easier to organize them.
Plug-in Disabler
Once installed, Plug-in Disabler will close all the add-ons when you launch Firefox. This feature can help you when you want a few add-ons deactivated for a specific reason, or if you simply want to save memory resources.
