BlackBerry-centric blog, BBin revealed that BlackBerry has exhibited BBM for Windows PCs at its Jam Asia 2013 event in Hong Kong, on Thursday. As per the demonstration, BBM for Windows platform will have similar interface that is currently available in the BBM for BlackBerry 10 devices.

According to the report, BBM for Windows platform is not a standalone app, unlike BBM for Android and iOS devices. Instead, users have to connect their smartphones with a Windows PC to get BBM experience on a large screen. The upcoming messenger probably connect with a computer as the company earlier provided by offering BlackBerry PlayBook via BlackBerry Bridge.

It seems that even with a huge loss reported recently, BlackBerry is in plans to start earning from the smartphones market with offering BBM for all, a cross-platform instant messenger. Well, BlackBerry would earn success with BBM or not, it is still a question but some other instant messengers including WhatsApp would lose their existing users with the arrival of BBM.
