Spice Mobility today launched AndroidLand stores in India. AndroidLand stores will be the first of its kind multi-location stores that will offer live Android experience to the Indian consumers and showcase a comprehensive range of Android devices, services and accessories. These stores will have a wide range of Android devices from a number of vendors including several Indian and multinational vendors.
AndroidLand stores now opened in India for experiencing Android devices!
On the launch of AndroidLand stores in India, Dilip Modi, Co-Founder and Group CEO, Spice Global said;

Today Spice Mobility has launched the first two AndroidLand stores in the country, located in Koramangala, Bangalore and at The Great India Place Mall, Noida. The stores will have Spice Android Experience Specialists who will showcase the best of Android platform to the end-consumers and also provide services including initial set-up of devices and downloading of apps.
Speaking to TechOne3, Modi revealed that the company is currently in plans to open about 50 stores across the country, majorly in metro cities. Spice Mobility has a number of retail stores as Spice Hotspot but Modi stated that some of the existing Spice Hotspot will also soon be transformed into AndroidLand. However, there is no financial partnership by Google reported in launching of AndroidLand but the search giant has provided the concept and partnered in designing of the stores with the Indian concern.
AndroidLand store located in Noida region is spread across an area of 900 square feet, while the store in Bangalore has a total coverage of 2300 square feet. Both the stores will be opened for public from today and there will be devices from Spice, Samsung, Sony, HTC, Lenovo, Xolo, Micromax, Karbonn, LG and other major Android vendors.
Apart from live experience of Android smartphones and tablets, the stores have Google Play Zone which is an “area showcasing the most popular apps and games from Google Play. Customers can choose to search and download multiple applications from Google Play on the spot,” as per the press statement. The stores also have free Wi-Fi connectivity to experience web access on the available Android devices.
