We think it’s safe to say that Microsoft managed to create its best operating system ever. Windows 10 is the most used PC operating system in the world right now. The software brings a huge array of features including Microsoft’s own Edge browser. The company has been trying to develop a successful web browser for a while now but it didn’t have any success. In fact, the company’s own Internet Explorer browser is infamous for being filled with bugs.

Today we’re going to talk about which is the best browser for Windows 10. The two contenders are Mozilla Firefox and Google Chrome. These browsers have proven themselves as being the best ones, but now we’re going to see which one is the best.

As everybody knows by now, Windows 10 already ships with Edge and Internet Explorer 11. Users should know that this doesn’t imply that they don’t have access to different alternatives. Both Firefox and Chrome can be easily installed with the simple press of a click. Worth mentioning is that a recent survey showed that Windows 10 users like to use more browsers at the same time, so this is always an option.

Now let’s talk about Firefox. The biggest asset Firefox has is that it uses an open-source code. Chrome was also released as open-source but this got changed along the way. Mozilla Firefox is filled with innovative features such as third party cookie blocking. This can come in quite handy since visited websites are not going to be able to track user activity. Another cool feature Firefox brings is that it uses IonMonkey. This is a JavaScript engine that’s been designed especially to run faster than other browsers.

On the other hand, Google Chrome prides itself in the fact that it has the best overall user experience. The best thing about Chrome is that users can use their Google Account to sync up Chrome on different platforms. This way, users won’t be required to type in their passwords on their mobiles anymore. Additionally, Chrome uses a special “Incognito” mode. This mode is quite popular since it doesn’t track the users activity and it doesn’t save history as well.

While we went over only a couple of key features, it seems like Firefox ‘s strength lies in its speed while Google focuses more on providing users with a smoother experience. In the end, it’s up to users to chose the one that fits their needs the most.
