The Oxford Dictionaries’ Oxford Words blog reports on the latest tranche of
new words added to the online edition of the Oxford Dictionary. The anchor Oxford English Dictionary (OED) is considered by many to
be the last word authority, so to speak, on the evolution of the English language. Several of the newly-added words to the online edition only, at least for the present, originate in IT and
Internet culture.
