As we close out a week and a half with the Xbox One backward compatibly poll, it seems pretty obvious the kind of games most would like to see playable on their next-gen consoles.

Rockstar’s Red Dead Redemption leads the charge with 55,340 votes followed by Call of Duty: Black Ops II at 51,727 votes and The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim with 50,162 votes. After that, we start to peter out into the 40,000 range with Halo: Reach coming in at a distant 4th with 43,466 votes and Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 at 43,178.

Meanwhile, the games I voted for don’t come into play until page five with Lost Odyssey coming in with 7,471 votes. That’s the highest I’ve supported, and others I voted for are faring much worse. Ace Combat 6 has the most with 1,544. Infinite Undiscovery clocks in at 1,498 votes, The Last Remnant sneaks in right behind it at 1,442, and Earth Defense Force 2017 putters in at a mere 764.

Wow, looks like I’m not going to be playing the Xbox 360 exclusives I want to on an Xbox One anytime soon.

On the Xbox Live Arcade scene, ‘Splosion Man is an exclusive that can’t be played anywhere else, and it currently sits at 1,252 votes, and the excellent HD remake of the beat ’em up classic, Guardian Heroes, sits at a miserable 752.

At least Crackdown scored an admirable 10,739 votes. Love that game, and it is my sole victory in this poll.

If you want to vote for one of the higher ranking games, I ask that you show a little mercy and throw your votes in the direction of some cult favorites. It’s not like Red Dead Redemption is not going to happen at this point.
