Countries like the United States, Germany, Japan and China are working on the development of industry 4.0 and on making smart manufacturing the focus of the fourth industrial revolution. Computex Taipei, which will take place June 6, will involve domestic and foreign system integration solutions providers and smart solutions for the telecommunication industry. Providers including Unitech Electronics, TSC and DFI will showcase their embedded system products at the computer expo.

Unitech, a provider of automatic identification and data collection products, introduced a smart management platform MoboLink at the Computex 2014. The company will roll out an upgraded version of the enterprise-grade cloud platform this year. In addition to its existing remote-controlled management technology and the ability to allow enterprise users to operate large numbers of handheld devices remotely, the MoboLink value-added platform has various class metamodels and uses RESTful interface for system integration to streamline and integrate data.

According to Unitech, the company will also showcase its PA820 industrial grade PDA, MS 916 portable barcode reader and M-POS mobile application at the Computex.
