#XCOM2 #Gaming – XCOM 2 Xbox One And PS4 Release Detailed By Firaxis : XCOM 2 is coming to consoles soon. Firaxis has just announced that their hit turn-based strategy game will be coming to Xbox One and Playstation 4.
The XCOM 2 XBox One and PS4 versions will be available on September 6 in North America and September 9 internationally. The game was released exclusively on PC this February to rave reviews from critics and fans.
Fan Demand Major Factor in Bringing XCOM 2 to Consoles
The developer previously said that XCOM 2 was made from the ground up with the PC in mind, but pleas from fans made them reconsider their stance.
“Every forum post, passionate tweet, Facebook message, and letter about getting XCOM 2 on console was heard loud and clear. We have diehard console-focused fans who let us know in every way possible they wanted to play the game too.
That’s dedication we wouldn’t ignore,” said lead producer Garth DeAngelis in the official announcement on the Playstation blog.
