Voice-calling app Viber has updated its desktop app, which brings with it new features and improvements including the newly introduced stickers shop. The stickers shop, which is Viber’s foray into monetizing its app has now arrived on the desktop platform. Users can buy stickers from this shop to use them while chatting.

Additionally, Viber has also introduced a new drag and drop feature which lets users drag photos from a folder to the app, a ‘Seen’ feature that shows if and when one’s message was seen and the ability to receive video messages. Lastly, it has improved the video calling feature on the desktop and has for the first time support Linux.

Last week, Viber announced a major update for its iOS and Android app, bringing with it a new stickers shop and new features like push-to-talk. While having a chat, Viber’s founder and CEO Talmon Marco also revealed that the app had over 15 million users in India and “millions of them” were active every month.
