After launching its Vibe K5 Note in August, Lenovo today announced a new variant of the smartphone that boasts more internal storage. The Lenovo Vibe K5 Note with 4GB of RAM and 64GB of internal storage will be available through open sales starting 11.59PM exclusively on Flipkart from February 21. The smartphone carries a price of Rs 13,499 and is available in color choices of Gold, Silver, and Dark Grey.

In addition to the 4GB+64GB variant, Lenovo has further announced a price drop for the 32GB model. The variant with 4GB of RAM and 32GB internal storage is now available at Rs 12,499, Rs 1,000 lesser than the launch price. The launch of new variant of the Vibe K5 Note comes shortly after the company introduced an upgraded version of the K6 Power with 4GB of RAM. At Rs 13,499, the Vibe K5 Note now puts a closer fight to the the Xiaomi Redmi Note 4, which boasts of similar set of specifications. The top-end variant of the Redmi Note 4 comes with 4GB of RAM, 64GB of built-in storage and Snapdragon 625 processor. This variant of the Redmi Note 4 is priced at Rs 12,999.

Lenovo Vibe K5 Note specifications and features

The Lenovo Vibe K5 Note features a 5.5-inch full HD (1080p) IPS display. It is powered by a 1.8GHz MediaTek Helio P10 64-bit octa-core processor paired with Mali-T860 GPU. The existing variants of the Lenovo Vibe K5 Note include a 3GB RAM+32GB internal storage model and a 4GB RAM+32GB internal storage variant. The newest addition takes the total number of variants to three with 4GB RAM+64GB of internal storage. The smartphone further comes with expandable storage up to 128GB via microSD card.

The smartphone is fuelled by a 3,500mAh battery with support for fast charging. It further comes with a rear fingerprint sensor. Connectivity options include dual SIM support via hybrid slot, 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi, USB OTG, and Bluetooth. The smartphone runs Android 6.0 Marshmallow-based Vibe UI. It also comes preloaded with TheaterMax technology for VR.
